| MEMO 1929 MODEL |
Année / year c.1929
SN 24947
This is a very unusual and early half frame camera : makes 50 18x23mm
pictures on 35mm film in special cassettes which were originally made of
wood (later in metal). Fortunately, the later, easier to find Agfa Karat
cassette fits in this camera, so could be tested ?
This camera was one of the first 35mm still cameras (in fact it is a
one-frame-at-a-time movie camera).
This camera is a vertical box made of wood with leather covering,
has a tubular optical finder on top and a metal handle for easy
transport. It has the shutter release guard so I assume it's a later
model.
The lens is a fixed focus Ilex Cinemat f6,3/40mm (f6,3 - f8 - f11 - f16)
in T, B, 25, 50, 100 shutter. There is a sliding button on back for film
advance and automatic exposure counter on front above the lens.
