|
MYKRO FINE
COLOR 16 |
Année / year not known but nevertheless it
seems quite old !
The ad. that came with the camera is dated
1972 and compares this brand new camera to the new Instamatic 20 Kodak).
Manufacturer is unknown. Original price $7.98 for the camera, $2.98 for
case, $1.49 for one magazine.
This model was distributed by Zip Custom Photo Labs, box448, Flushing,
NY 11352. : order 2 magazines and you get the camera for free !
As ZIP codes were implemented in 1963, I'd date the camera between 1963
and 1972... Anyway, some sources date the camera from the 50's.
This is an uncommon japanese subminiature camera for 14 pictures 13x13mm
on
16mm film in special magazine.
Multi-elements f6,3 Mykro Lens System in simple shutter ; 3 apertures
for light conditions.
Curious design : body style is very similar to the Whittaker Pixie and
the top is similar to the Hit type cameras. See also the Croma Color 16,
very similar.
This one is supplied with original worn box, worn pigskin case and original papers.
