MYKRO FINE (Japan)

The ad. that came with the camera is dated 1972 and compares this brand new camera to the new Instamatic 20 Kodak).

The Leica M3 miniature model is made in Japan for Minox GmbH of Wetzlar, Germany. The camera is designed as a miniature replica of the classic Leica M3 camera of 1954. It's similar to the Sharan model (same manufacturer ?).
Scale 1/2,5 : dimensions are L74mm x H38mm x W41mm.

Shutter speed 1/250 second. The "self-timer" lever on the front is spring loaded to return to its normal position, but it does not function as a self-timer.
The "rewind knob" turns, but with Minox film, there is no need to rewind. The double-stroke film advance lever actually advances the film. Uses standard Minox film cartridges for 8x11mm exposures. A 36 exposure cartridge of Minocolor ASA 100 film is included with the camera.
The camera comes factory new in a wooden display box with a black fabric lining. The clear plastic sliding cover has "MINOX Germany" printed on the top corner. The instruction booklet is packed under the black fabric lining.
