"T"
Newton viewfinder (approx. 0,5x)

Film advance is manualthrough a knob ; alternating by 6 2/3 and 20
sprocket holes (= 31.66 and 95.00 mm), sprocket wheels on top and bottom.
Manual film rewinding ; unlocking with rewind lever.
Additive frame counter from 1 to 40. Manual reset by turning wind-knob in
rewind position. Counter is alternatingly increasing 1 and 3 in Stereo
Mode (S), and in single steps in Mono Mode (M).
Flash provision : special double contact (only later models). Accessory
shoe (no contact)
Tripod socket ¼“ / 20 TPI on this late model.
Special features : double exposure prevention (overridable with by
separate shutter cocking lever), cable release socket

Notes The camera can be switched to Mono mode (M) by turning a knob. A

VERASCOPE

All metal stereo cameras made from c.1893 untill the 1930's. Many
models and variations.
This is a model n°2 bis. It's a later version of the n° 2 with a locking
lever for the magazine back (12 plates).
It takes 45 x 107 mm pictures on glass plates.
Shutter is cocked by a sliding button on front and is released by the
lever located above the right lens ; speeds are adjustable by a small
round knob which has two marks :
V and L . I assume V is for Vite (fast) and L for Lent (slow).
I and P settings above left lens.
Folding viewfinder on the left side, reflex viewfinder on body.
No markings on the lenses (f8/55mm rectilinear), fixed focus.

GLYPHOSCOPE

Stereo camera for 45 x 107 mm plates made of Ebonite (ivoirine in French).
The body has a large Le Glyphoscope molded on top.
Fixed focus achromatic meniscus lenses in guillotine shutter (P and I settings). 3
Diaphragms settings .
It was marketed from 1904 until end 30's without significant
modifications.
This camera can be transformed into a stereo viewer by removing the front
panel.

The name is molded in a rectangle on top side.

35mm rangefinder stereo camera for 23.42 x 25.20 mm pictures. There
is a separate rangefinder (baseline 74 mm).
The lenses are Amaton Anastigmat f3.5/35 mm (glass, matched) .
The Newton viewfinder (approx. 0,5x) has parallax-compensation with
lever on back side (3 - 10 ft. and 10 ft. - infinity), bubble level.
Focus
is manually adjusted from 3 ft (90cm) to infinity.
Mechanical Revere Wollensak Rapax Stereo Synchromatic central type
shutter MFX, behind the lenses, cocking with film transport (separate
cocking-lever for double-exposures). Speeds from 1/2 sec to 1/200, B and T.
Special Hot shoe for flash.
Iris diaphragms between the lenses, continuously adjustable from f/3.5
to f/22.
Manual film transport (10 sprocket holes = 47,5mm), sprocket wheels on
top and bottom. The mechanical frame counter is additive from 1 to 32.
With leather case.
Similar to Wollensack Stereo.

This is a small folding bed camera for 4.5 x 6 cm plates.
Black leather covered metal body. Ident plate on side marked
Rietzschel's CLACK Munchen.
Double extension bellows (close up pictures possible !); folding waist level viewfinder.
Lens : Meyer Goerlitz double anastigmat Helioplan 1:4.5
Foc.3inches.(from diverses sources, other lenses were available : Linear Anastigmat Sextar f6.8/90mm, Linear Anastigmat f4.5/65mm
or f6.3/90mm, Doppel Plasmat f4/75mm and probaly more).
The lens assembly can be shifted vertically and horizontally (see the
animated picture) : the large chromed knob is to move the lens board
vertically and the horizontal movment is locked through the lever under
the lens.
Shutter : Pronto T, B, 25, 50, 100 (also with Compound or Compur).
Removable ground glass holder with folding hood.
Tripod sockets on bottom and on side.
It was the first camera produced by Rietzschel in this size.
It is a rare camera.
A Model II with simple extension bellows exists. |

Production of about 8000 cameras in approx. serial numbers range
245000-275000.
Same as Exa Type 2 but engraved Exa System Rheinmetall Sommerda on
front plate and Rheinmetall on back below finder hood.
The Ihagee Dresden factory was unable to keep up with the demand for
Exacta and Exa cameras, so they licenced production of the Exa to
Rheinmetall for a short time.
Meyer Gorlitz Trioplan f2,9/50mm lens in 25-150, B shutter.
Flash sockets are black (chrome on later models).

RothlarOptic Gazelle is a special production out
of the Gloriette series from Braun (also sold as Wittnauer Scout). This camera was manufactured at that time in
small number of items as house model for the company Roth in Oed. The
leather case is embossed with the name Gazelle.
It seems to be uncommon.
The former Rothlar-Optik still exists under the name of
Optolith.

Historicaly important : the first 35mm SLR with automatic
exposure, controlled by selenium cell above the lens. Aperture or
shutter priority. Savoyflex were also the first reflex cameras of the world
to propose the immediate return of the mirror in position of aiming,
after taking picture, thus avoiding having to arm to be able to aim
again.
Lens : fixed Som Berthiot f2,8/50mm in helical focusing mount. Accepts
supplementary lenses (35mm Hyperflex, 80mm Ampliflex and Macroflex).
Prontor Reflex B, 1-300 leaf shutter.
Savoyflex III automatic was supplied with a
set of grids to place in front of the cell according to the sensitivity
of the film used, simple mode of adjustment of the sensitivity.
Also supplied with shade and filters (the shade
maintains the filters on the lens.

I assume that is a Rondo camera with name plate marked Harmony, leather
case is also embossed with this name. It's very similar to the Adams
Auto35, Colormatic, Rondomatic ; also sold under other names including
Ward35EE, Rondo35,...
Basic japanese 35 mm viewfinder camera with automatic exposure
controlled by selenium cell around lens (needle visible in
finder). Can also work in semi-manual control (can just adjust diaph till
needle is in correct position in finder). Lens f4/35mm in single speed
1/60 shutter, synchro.
