Superb quality 35mm camera with coupled rangefinder. Introduced in 1951
with Barn-doors.

handed patented "Combi-Plunger" film advance and shutter cocking
mechanism
The first Vitessa with rigid front without barn-doors, uncoupled
selenium meter and interchangeable lenses.
Lens is the interchangeable Color Skopar f2.8/50mm in newly introduced
Compur bayonet mount.
Lenses available were :
Color-Skopar 50/2.8 standard lens
Skoparet 35/3.4 wide angle lens
Dynaret 100/4.8 medium tele lens
Super-Dynaret 135/4 tele lens
Braun Super Colorette 2 and corresponding Wittnauer cameras used the
same mount and their lenses were fully compatible ; so you could see a
Vitessa with Rodenstock, Schneider or Steinheil lens !
Synchro Compur behind the lens shutter B,
1,2,4,8,15,30,60,125,250,500.
This camera was found in a heavy cardboard box commemorating 200 years
1756-1956. Marked Voigtlander 1756 - 1956 on top
in silver lettering and Made in west Germany on bottom.
